Frequently Asked
Questions

  • Is PTTR suitable for independent owner-operators?

Yes. PTTR is built to support solo truckers through large fleets. Smart filters, low-cost membership, and a verified load network keep you booked and in control — manageable from phone or desktop.

  • What's the minimum load that can be posted or accepted?

There's no strict minimum. Partial loads, single pallets, or full truckloads all work — set pickup/drop-off points, truck type, and desired rate. Carriers filter by what fits their vehicle and route.

  • Can anybody else log in to my PTTR account on their device?

For security, PTTR allows one account per email and tracks logins across devices. Each additional user should be added as a verified user under your membership plan for proper tracking and accountability.

  • How do I add more drivers or users to my carrier account?

Under account settings choose "Add User". Each added user requires unique credentials and a small additional fee based on your membership type.

  • Can I change the status of a ride while it's in progress?

Yes. Mark stages such as "Started", "Arrived", "Refueling", or "Completed" directly from your device. Geo-fencing ensures status updates only happen in the correct location radius.

  • What if I miss a load offer — can I still apply later?

If a load hasn't been claimed, yes. Setting alerts based on lane/equipment preferences gets you notified instantly when matching loads are posted.

  • What happens if my MC or DOT number becomes inactive?

PTTR's FMCSA integration will automatically restrict your access until credentials are restored. Keeping your numbers active ensures compliance and broker trust.

  • How do I know if a posted load or carrier is legit?

Every user is vetted through FMCSA-integrated sign-up. Carriers and brokers need valid MC and DOT numbers — inactive credentials can't get access, so loads and partners you see meet compliance standards.

  • Load board vs. broker — which is better?

A load board gives carriers direct access and full control over rates and routes (best for independents). Using a broker means convenience but typically higher cost. PTTR supports both workflows in one platform.

  • Can I schedule a demo or walkthrough before signing up?

Yes — reach out via the Contact page or live chat and we'll set up a walkthrough of the dashboard for your role (carrier/broker/shipper).

  • What are your support hours?

24/7 — live chat, email, and phone. Trucking doesn't stop at 5pm and neither do we.

  • How long does it take to get a response?

Live chat: minutes. Email: 12-24 hours depending on complexity. For urgent matters use chat or phone.

  • Where is your support team based?

North America. Our team has logistics and trucking industry experience.

  • Do You Offer a Load Board for Box Trucks?

Yes — PTTR supports box trucks alongside flatbeds, sprinter vans, auto carriers, dry vans, reefers, and more.
